Joy F. Oelhafen, 83, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Joy was born on April 3, 1943 in Louisiana, to the late Wilson Fontenot and Murdis Fontenot (nee Ardoin). Joy was united in marriage to Ira N. Oelhafen on June 21, 1991 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend. Ira preceded Joy in death on March 2, 2013.

Those left to cherish Joy’s memory include her stepchildren, Bryan (Tiffany) Oelhafen: Steve (Joan) Oelhafen; step-grandchildren Jenna, Ashley, Kaila, Lesa, Jake, Krista and Kaitlyn. Also survived by nieces, nephew and friends.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Ira N Oelhafen and Raymond Ogea, Joy is preceded in death by her son, Gralyn Ogea, sister Gwendil Fontenot North.

Per Joy’s wishes no funeral will take place, but she will be laid to rest at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
