JOHN “JACK” DANIELS John “Jack” Daniels, age 79 years, a resident of West Bend, passed away on July 18, 2025. Born on April 17, 1946, in Green Bay, to Dick Daniels and Constance (Bobb) Daniels, Jack was a cherished member of the community known for his generosity, genuine kindness, selfless acts of service and knack for helping others in their time of need.
Jack grew up in Shawano and attended high school at Sacred Heart Seminary for the first three years. He then transferred & graduated from Shawano High School in 1964. Jack joined the United States Army in 1964 and received an honorable discharge in 1967. Upon his discharge, he furthered his education by attending Marquette University as a part-time evening student & received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration - Finance. Jack's first job of 5 years was at Marine National Exchange Bank that began when he was a student. He retired from Simplicity Manufacturing, Inc. after 33 years in accounting and finance. He volunteered for 25 years as the Finance Representative at Holy Angels Parish and actively volunteered in the administration of the parish. Jack was involved in the Marriage Encounter program and has been a member of an Image Group since 1989. In his free time, Jack's passion was his family, and he enjoyed every opportunity to travel the US & the world visiting them in Slovenia, Hong Kong, Norway & the Philippines, as well as hosting friends & family at their getaway retreat in Wisconsin Dells.
Jack married Anna (Martinjak) Winkler on October 26, 1986. Anna passed away on September 2, 1997. Jack & Carol (Polzin/Teofilo) were married on December 29, 1999. Jack is survived by his wife, Carol; and eight “bonus” children, Robert (Lynn) Winkler, Patrick (Laura) Winkler, Peter (Sarah) Winkler, Deborah (Robert) Cilk, Dean (Michele) Teofilo, Julie Teofilo Wallace, Gene Teofilo, and Antony (Kerianne)Teofilo; 18 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. Jack is also survived by his three siblings, David (Lola) Daniels, Susan Hennigan, and Jeanne Daniels; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sally (Bill) Metz. Jack was heavily influenced by the members of Anna’s extended family and in-laws as well as Carol’s extended family and in-laws and was grateful for the relationships that they shared over the years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9:00 - 10:45 AM at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N 8th Street, West Bend, with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow Mass at Holy Angels.

Jack's life will be remembered fondly by all who were blessed to know him, as he truly embodied his faith by living for others, sharing the spirit of community, compassion & service. We will carry Jack's love with us always...especially with a name like Jack Daniels, he is impossible to forget!
