John Podgorski, age 79, of West Bend, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at his home.

John was born on October 27, 1944 in Milwaukee to the late John and Wandra (nee Krass) Podgorski. John was united in marriage to Janet Wojcinski on May 8, 1971. Janet passed away on April 7, 2019. John proudly served his country in the Army. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, bowler, trap shooting, and when he was younger, he was an outdoor enthusiast.

Those John leaves to cherish his memory include his nephew, Chad (Natalie) McCartney; great niece, Sophia McCartney; great nephew, Landon McCartney.

In addition to his parents and wife, John is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Kathy.

VISITATION: John’s family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, 1315 West Washington Street, West Bend, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for John will follow visitation at 5:00 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service with Dan Schroeder officiating the service.
