Trenton

Joan Elizabeth Bohn (nee Lamp), 70 years old, of West Bend was called home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Joan was born on January 23, 1955 in West Bend to Andrew and Elaine Lamp (Ciriacks). She grew up in Farmington, attended St. John’s Lutheran School in Newburg, and graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1973. Joan was married to Alan Bohn on May 22, 1976 at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Joan started her career at Newburg Bank and spoke often of her time there. She then worked for the West Bend Company for 25 years and earned her Associate Degree in Accounting from Moraine Park Technical College by taking night classes. After she left the West Bend Company, Joan spent a brief period at Chase Bank in Milwaukee, and then retired from the Laser Shop in Jackson.

Joan loved taking trips with her husband and family, especially traveling to Las Vegas. She enjoyed watching all sports and rarely missed the Brewers play. Joan had a love for fishing, badminton, and dining out. Most of all, she treasured her time with her grandchildren. They brought her so much joy and she lit up whenever she was with them.

Joan is survived by her children, Marcus Bohn and Tiffany (Gus) Witte; grandsons, Riley Bohn, Mason Wamsley-Bohn, and the twins, Grayson and Adrian Witte; sisters, Darleen (Gary) Koch, Joyce (Jim) Ksioszk, Laureen (Brian) Bastian, and Melinda (Derek) Berube. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Bohn; sisters, Marilyn Hefter, Karen Krueger, Shirley Lamp, and Emily Lamp.

A private graveside service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Newburg.

The family would like to thank Dr. Mooney, the Horizon Hospice nurses, and special friend, Vanessa, for their care and compassion.
