Obituary

Jeffrey P. Lentz, age 66, of Lomira WI, passed away on October 30th, 2026 surround by his family. Jeff was born on January 2, 1960, in West Bend to David and Jo Ann (Biertzer) Lentz. He was the oldest sibling to Laurie and was a devoted husband of Roxanne. Jeff was the proud father to his two daughters, and cherished “Papa” to six beloved grandchildren, an uncle to many, and a thoughtful friend to countless others.

After graduating from Lomira High School in 1978, he joined the workforce immediately. He absolutely loved providing for his family and enjoyed being behind the wheel in his semi-trucks throughout the years.

He married Roxanne (Strean) on May 3, 1980. They did everything together and were best friends, hunting partners, each other’s caretaker, and camping buddies. They were each other’s true ride or die and that didn’t matter if they were on a motorcycle, snowmobile, or a bus ride to the casino, he valued the relationship they shared.

Jeff’s love for his family was limitless. He was a hardworking and loving father and papa that would show up no matter what time of the day or night he was needed. His life was defined by a deep love for his family and his lifelong passion for hunting that he passed down to his children and grandchildren. His passion for this sport will be a cherished family tradition centered on shared outdoor memories that will last a lifetime.

His grandchildren were the center of his world. He cherished every moment spent with them…teaching them to hunt and gamble with their parent’s money away, having fun, sharing his wisdom and good taste in music, and cheering them on in every aspect of their lives. Their passions were also his.

Jeff was an incredible generous and always willing to lend a hand to others. Whether it was helping a neighbor, welcoming others a warm place to lay their heads and making sure everyone had full bellies, or spending time with the ones he loved deeply.

Jeff’s legacy will live on in the hearts of him mom Jo Ann, his wife Roxanne, his daughters Jessica (Robert) Roehl, and Miranda (James) Tobias, his grandchildren Cain Schibline, Lacey and Bryce Zielinski, Kaleigh, Annaleigh, and Greyson Roehl, his sister Laurie Lentz and his brothers-in-law Rodney and Russell Strean, his nieces and nephews Jay (Tara) Shulfer, Natasha (Josh) Amundson, Christy Gildemeister, Mike (Jessica) Strean, and Travis Strean. He was also a great uncle to many cherished great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his dad David Lentz, his parents-in-laws Rosie and Leo Strean, his niece Amy Strean, along with serval other friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins he adored.
