Jeanette M. Stipanovic (nee Gassner), 92, of Mayville was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Jeanette was born on August 2, 1930, to the late Marcus and Ottilis Gassner in Nasbro, WI. She was united in marriage to Danny Stipanovic on Sept 8, 1956, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lomira, WI. Jeanette worked for 20 years at Tab’s Paper Products and helped her husband for many years in the tavern business, Dan’s Dugout in Mayville. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church and Christian Mary’s. Jeanette loved the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Wisconsin Badgers. She enjoyed reading, fishing, bowling, playing Bingo, and going to the casino. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Jeanette leaves behind to cherish her memory include her son, James “Jim” (Rosie Heintz) Stipanovic and a daughter-in-law, Jane Stipanovic.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Danny Stipanovic, and her son, Mark Stipanovic.

SERVICE: A graveside service in remembrance of Jeanette will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Mayville.
