Jean Marie James (nee Zluticky), 77, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with her family by her side.

Jean was born on May 27, 1947, in Lacrosse to the late David and Ione (nee Burns) Zluticky. Jean graduated from Logan High School in Lacrosse. She was united in marriage to John James. Jean’s primary career was as a workman’s comp auditor. She later formed her own companies called JM Accounting & Tax Service as well as The Payroll Company. Jean was very much involved in the organization Masonic Order of the Eastern Star where she served a one year term as Grand Matron.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, John; children, Kirstin Holtan-Pirkl and Erik Holton; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews,

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her brother, David Zluticky.

Per Jean’s wishes there will be no funeral services held.
