Janice M. Koepke, 82, of Auburn Lake, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019, at Grancare Nursing Home in Fond du Lac.

Janice was born on September 13, 1936, in Campbellsport, the daughter of the late Alvin and Lydia (nee Arndt) Butzke. On September 29, 1956, she was united in marriage to Norman Koepke at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane. Norman preceded Janice in death on April 27, 2009. Janice loved to garden around her house and had a huge vegetable garden.

Those Janice leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, LuAnn (Ken) Larson of Auburn Lake; a granddaughter, Jennifer (Mias) Schwabe; two great-grandchildren, Addison and Ben Schwabe; a sister-in-law, Mavis Schulz; an aunt, Camilla Butzke; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Janice was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gary Schulz.

Graveside services for Janice will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in New Fane with Rev. Mark Eckert officiating.
