Janice “Ma Jan” A. Granec (nee Krusing), 74, of Jackson, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 6, 2017.

She was born on September 23, 1943 to the late Eugene and Margaret (nee Panzer) Krusing in Milwaukee WI. Janice graduated from Custer High School. On April 25, 1964 she was united in marriage to Robert Granec in Milwaukee. Janice enjoyed shopping, sewing, gardening and sitting in her backyard watching and feeding the birds.

Those Janice leaves behind to cherish her memory includes her son, David (Linda) Granec; two grandchildren, Rachael and Stephanie Granec; a sister, Nancy (John) Rostollan; two brothers, James “Jim” (Rosie) Krusing and Richard (Brigette Mann) Krusing; a sister-in-law, Carol Granec; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Granec and her father and mother-in-law, Julius and Gertrude Granec.

A private family service was held.
