Howard “Howie” Harold Holland, 79, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2026 at his home.
Howie was born on October 19, 1946 in Milwaukee, to the late Carl and Lorraine Holland (nee Verduin). Howie was a man of deep faith. His belief in God never wavered and he told anyone who would listen to him what God has done for him and what God could do for them.
In his younger years he loved to play baseball and football. He was glued to the TV for every Brewers and Packer games.
He loved his country and proudly flew the American Flag in his yard. One of his favorite verses was Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world!” He always said “Whatever God has for me is okay with me”.
Those left to cherish Howie’s memory include his wife, Marilyn; children, Jeffrey (Vesna) Holland, Kimmberlee Whitaker, and Jasyn Holland; stepchildren, Gerald Bohn and Teresa Roesel; four grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Howie is preceded in death by, his brother, Carl Holland and sister, Gloria Gruenewald; along with his first wife, Judy Yonker.
VISITATION: Howie’s family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at Kewaskum House of Prayer (100 Clinton Street, Kewaskum, WI 53040).
MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for Howie will take place following visitation at 4:00 p.m., at Kewaskum House of Prayer, with Pastor Joe Brath officiating the service. Burial will take place at Beechwood Cemetery with Military Honors to follow.
Memorials in honor of Howie can be made to the Kewaskum House of Prayer or your local VFW Legion.
