Gail E. Dorzok, 80, of the town of Farmington, passed away on August 28, 2025, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
Born on September 6, 1944, Gail Johnson entered the world as the cherished daughter of Carl and Elizabeth (née Martin) Johnson. From the very beginning, she carried the warmth and resilience of her family name with pride. Gail poured her heart into everything she did—whether it was her 22 dedicated years at Amity Leather, her time at Allen Edmonds, or leading the charge as president of U.S. Cylinders Inc. Her work ethic was matched only by her creativity and compassion. In the kitchen, Gail was a maestro. Her love for cooking and baking wasn’t just a hobby—it was a way of bringing people together. Her pies, cookies, and hearty meals were legendary, and her home always smelled like comfort. When she wasn’t whipping up something delicious, you could find her twirling across the dance floor to a lively polka tune or part of the planning committee for Parents Without Partners. Her efforts helped their float win first prize in West Bend’s 4th of July Parade—a moment of pride and joy. Gail also drove a school bus for Johnson Bus, where she greeted every child with kindness and care. Her love for her children and grandchildren was boundless, and she made sure they knew it in every hug, every meal, and every memory shared. Some of her most treasured moments were holiday gatherings—Easter at Mom’s and Christmas at Ron’s—where laughter echoed and traditions thrived. She believed deeply in life’s rhythms, often reminding others: “Don’t rush—everything happens for a reason.” Gail’s life was a beautiful blend of hard work, heartfelt joy, and unwavering love. She didn’t just live—she inspired.
Those Gail leaves behind to cherish her memory include five children, Bobbie Clayton, Ron (Annie) Dorzok, Dan (Teresa) Dorzok, Carl (Nikki) Dorzok, and Lynn; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth (Barbara) Johnson and Harlen Johnson; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rhonda Dorzok.
