Farnaz "Roz" Krafft

December 12, 1962 — August 2, 2013

Farnaz "Roz" R. Krafft, (nee Rezazadeh), age 50, of West Bend, was called home to be with her Lord on Friday August 2, 2013 at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. Her death was an incredible shock to her family and friends, who now look to the Cross for strength and comfort.

She was born on December 12, 1962 in Bloomington, IN to Reza and Gloria (nee Maltes) Rezazadeh. Her family soon moved to Platteville, where her parents became professors at UW Platteville. Roz attended UW Platteville and graduated in 1984 with a BS Degree in elementary education and Spanish. Upon graduation she became a teacher of young children in the Platteville School System from 1984 until 1994.

Roz met her future husband Rollin in 1991 and on June 12, 1993 they were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend. Roz was the love of Rollin's life and God blessed them with two wonderful children, Arthur in 1998 and Anna in 2000. She was a fabulous and loving mom to both of them.

She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend. Roz was a teacher at St. John's School, and in 2006 she became director of the Son Shine Hour at St. John's Lutheran Church, where she taught young children about her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, collecting seashells, and annual family vacations in Longboat Key, FL. Roz was a strong and tireless advocate for autistic children. She always put others ahead of herself and had an amazing impact on thousands of children and their families.

Roz is survived by her husband, Rollin; two children, Arthur Jeffrey Krafft and Anna Avis Krafft, both at home; her father, Reza Rezazadeh of Platteville; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Alberta Krafft of Menomonee Falls; four brothers, Faryad Rezazadeh of Chicago, Farshad (Frankie) Maltes of Madison, Farhad (Ginnie) Rezazadeh of Rockford, IL, and Cyrus Rezazadeh of Platteville; two sisters-in-law, Avis (David) Chmielewski of Milwaukee, and Jennifer (Peter) Boyle of Palatine, IL; a brother-in-law, Grant (Patricia Cain) Krafft of Glenview, IL; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria in May of 2013; and a brother Farzad Rezazadeh.

A memorial service in remembrance of Roz will be held on Saturday August 10th at 3:30 pm at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church ( 809 S. 6th Ave.) West Bend. Rev. David Kellerman will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
