Ethel J. Martin, of Lomira, formerly of Slinger, was called to home to be with the Lord on February, 26, 2026, at Hope Health Care Center in Lomira.
Ethel was born on February 7, 1948 in the town of Wayne to the late Edward and Martha Martin (nee Jung). She lived on the family farm for many years.
Ethel enjoyed playing sheepshead, going outside for walks and enjoyed watching the birds and nature. She loved her burgers and fries from Burger King. Ethel was a member of First Baptist Church in Campbellsport for many years.
Those Ethel leaves behind to cherish her memory include her brother, Winston (Geri) Martin; she is furthered survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Ethel is preceded in death by her two sisters, Lois (Elroy) Kutz and Marion (Robert) Dieringer; two brothers, Leroy Martin and Lyle Martin; and two half-brothers, Norman Martin and Wallace (Marilyn) Martin.
VISITATION: Ethel’s family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service (1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend) from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Following visitation there will be a funeral service at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor David Nothem officiating the service at 1:30 p.m.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses, and staff at Hope Health Care Center for their care and compassion, also a thank you to the nurses and staff at Autumn Oaks and for the care managers and financial managers.
