Duane A. Radke passed away at AVINA of Mayville on September 16th, 2025, on his late wife, Edith's, birthday.

Duane was born on October 10th, 1937, to Alvin Radke and Dorothy (nee Witt) Radke in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

After graduating in 1955 from Beaver Dam High School, Duane enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served his country for the next 21 years, which stationed him at many bases across the U.S.A. and overseas.

After retiring from the United States Air Force, he worked for Wisconsin Power and Light Company. After retiring from WP&L, Duane worked summers at the Mayville Golf Course.

While stationed in Salina, Kansas. Duane met Edith. They were united in marriage on January 4th, 1958, at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina.

Duane is survived by his two sons, Robert (Debbie) Radke of Mayville, and David Radke of Mayville; His two granddaughters, Tanya (Brian) Wallace of Mayville, and Amanda Radke (fiancé Dan Causier) of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; Five Granddaughters, Natalie, Anna, Lydia Wallace, Ada and Rorex Causier.

Duane is survived by a brother Ken, (Shirley) Horicon and a sister, Carol (Ted) Kaiser of Cable, Wisconsin. Brothers-in-law Lloyd (Paula) Crawford of Sequim, Washington, and Elton (Marilyn) Crawford of Salina, Kansas.

Duane is preceded in death by his parents.

Duane liked gardening, ice fishing, the Green Bay Packers, and the Wisconsin Badgers' football and basketball. Duane also loved Jeeps and four-wheeling with David out west.

Per Duane's request, a private visitation and service will take place at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in Mayville on September 26th, 2025.

Burial will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin.

Duane's family would like to thank the staff at Avina of Mayville and Generation Hospice for their excellent care of Duane.
