Diane Marie Muckerheide (Wanke), age 69 years, of Kewaskum passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2022.

Diane was born on June 4, 1953 in Milwaukee to Ervin and Celine Wanke  (Ellenbecker).  She was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” Muckerheide on April 28, 1973 at Holy Trinity in Kewaskum.

Diane attended Hamilton-Sussex high school and graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1971.  She was a long-time employee and retired from RegalWare.  Diane enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, lottery scratch-offs, and especially being around her family and friends.

Those Diane leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 49 years, Chuck; two children, Scott (Wendy) Muckerheide and Stacy (James) Hendricks; three grandchildren, Derik (Tara), Cody (Stephanie), and Brooke; three great-grandchildren, Lucille, Matthew, and Sorin; mother, Celine Wanke; and seven siblings, Michael Wanke, Marlene (Daniel) Herriges, Dorene (John VanCleve) Burton, Jeannette (John) McLeer, Kevin (Chris) Wanke, Joan (Brian) Brown, and Cindy (Todd) Giese.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Ervin Wanke; and brother, Daniel “Schlup” Wanke.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 5:00 pm at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (215 Forest Ave. – Kewaskum, WI  53040).  The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
