Dennis F. Liepert, 68, of West Bend, passed away in the arms of his wife on January 17, 2026, at Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
Dennis entered the world on December 28, 1957, in West Bend, born to Lloyd and Myrtle (Abel) Liepert. On June 25, 1994, he married the love of his life, Tammy Oelke, in Kewaskum.
For 41 years, Dennis poured his heart into his work at Schreiber Foods, where he wasn’t just respected, he was cherished. His gentle spirit and genuine kindness left an imprint on everyone who knew him.
Dennis and Tammy shared a lifetime of adventures together, from skiing along snowy trails and casting their lines into peaceful lakes, to exploring the woods, searching for mushrooms, and playing round after round of golf. Dennis and Tammy also spent many days deer and turkey hunting, canoeing, and biking. Some of their favorite memories came from ice fishing trips with friends and family, where they’d cook out on the ice and enjoy the day together.
Above all, Dennis was devoted to his family. He taught his children lessons that would carry them through life, always giving every bit of himself to the people he loved. He was known for his warm hugs, his easy humor, and the way he welcomed his grandchildren with open arms.
His grandkids were the light of his life, especially his “little peanut,” Corsi, who held a special place in his heart.
Those Dennis leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Tammy; his children, Cory (See) Kordosky and Jake Kordosky; his grandchildren, Collin, Tim, Dylan, Kyle, and Corsi; his sister, Susan (Jim) Good; a sister-in-law, Sandy Liepert; an aunt, Janice (Al) Kempf; and Tammy’s aunt and uncle, Lane and Sharon Swenson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by two brothers, Doug (Barb) Liepert and Dale Liepert; his brother and sisters-in-law, Roger Oelke, Terri Oelke, and Beth Oelke-Olson; his parents-in-law, Roger and Mary Oelke.
