DeLaine Bernice Zastrow (nee Bischel), 85, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 12, 2026.

DeLaine was born on December 9, 1940, in Bloomer, WI to the late Edward and Anna Bischel (nee Sarauer). She was united in marriage to Wesley Zastrow on April 3, 1993. DeLaine was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. She was proud of her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish DeLaine’s memory include her husband, Wesley; son, Jim Block; grandchildren, James Block, Carrie-Ann Block, Brian Block, Cindy Block, and other cherished grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Ale (Roberta) Bischel; sisters, Jeanette Johnson, Cecila (Don) Schieber, and Madonna (Gerrold) Herman; special friends and care givers, Phil and Jackie Luedtke; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, DeLaine is preceded in death by her grandparents; son, David; sisters, and brothers.

VISITATION: DeLaine’s family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, (550 Water Street, Lomira) from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for DeLaine will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, following visitation at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Rick Zahn officiating the service. Burial will take place following the service in the Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations to be made to Generations Hospice Fond du Lac, St. John’s Lutheran Church Lomira, and WLA of Fond du Lac.
