Dean R. “Silo” Flitter, 64, of Lomira, passed away at his home with his wife at his side on Wednesday, July 24, 2019.

Dean was born on May 25, 1955, in West Bend, the son of the late Willis Galleske and Beverly Flitter. On May 14, 2005, he was united in marriage to Nancy Mielke at Guido in the town of Byron. Dean worked on the Schwartz Farm from 1974-2011. Dean liked to watch all sports and Little House on the Prairie every day.

Those Dean leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Nancy; two brothers, Donny and Danny Galleske on Menominee, Michigan; a sister, Deanna Salzman of Marinette; a sister-in-law, Sandy Galleske; nieces, nephews, many in-laws and friends.

Dean is preceded in death by his brother, Dwight Galleske; grandparents, and parents.

A memorial service for Dean will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019, at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 350 Main Street, in Lomira.

Dean’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
