David Patrick Pettit, age 61 years, of West Bend was called home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2026, at Samaritan Health Care Center in West Bend surrounded by his loving family.

David was born on March 25, 1965, in Eau Claire to Michael and Dottie (Irving) Pettit.

David graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1983. He worked at Weasler Engineering for 34 years. David loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and went on many road trips with his friends, including trips to Nascar and Indy Car races. He enjoyed grilling out and inviting his friends and neighbors over for a big party. David had an avid love for music and his beloved guitar collection. He could hear a song on the radio, and then play the guitar, bass, and drum lines by ear.

Those David leaves behind to cherish his memory include his twin sons, Triston (Jasmine) Pettit and Brandon (Lauryn) Pettit and their daughter, Emory Pettit; daughters, Jessica (Raymond) Habenicht and Jennie Akins; son, Paul (Michelle) Neumann; father, Michael J. (the late Dottie) Pettit Sr; brother, Michael J. (Deb) Pettit Jr; and sister, Stephanie (Rick) McHugh. He is further survived by nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Alex, Taylor, Savannah, Michael J. III, and Joseph; as well as aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

VISITATION: David’s family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service – 1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095.

SERVICE: A Memorial Service in remembrance of David will take place at 12:00 Noon on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the funeral home.
