Obituary
Darlene E. Smith,73, of Hartford, passed away on Sunday December 21, 2014 at her home.
She was born on June 11, 1941 in Kewaunee WI, to the late Frank and Francis (nee Michalek) Reif. On May 26, 1973 she was united in marriage to Wilmer Smith in Zion IL. She was a caring mother and grandmother that loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, Roger (Patricia) Post, Kevin (Kristy) Smith, and Christopher M. Smith; five grandchildren, Ryan (Stephanie) Post, Luke Post, Tyler Smith, Kein Smith, and Madden Smith; three sisters, Mary Harteau, Dorothy Benser, and Millie Ermis; other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two step-children, Wayne Smith and Kim Pond; Granddaughter, Stefani Post; sister, Grace Steckbauer, and brother, Joe Reif.
