Corinna Marie
Blecher
Jun 30, 1964 — Jun 21, 2026
Corinna Marie Blecher, 61, of the town of Hubbard, journeyed to the Spirit World, wrapped in the love of her family and the soft sunrise light at Kathy Hospice, on June 21, 2026.
Born as the summer sun peaked, on June 30, 1964, in West Bend, WI, Corinna was the cherished daughter of Donald D. Mertz and Angeline J. Mertz (Paine). On June 22, 2002, beneath wide Wisconsin skies, she joined hands and hearts with Donald J. Blecher in marriage.
Corinna’s spirit was woven with the threads of tradition and togetherness. She was the heart-fire at every holiday gathering, the laughter around the table, the guiding star by the campfire. She reveled in camping and fishing with her grandchildren, crafting with nimble hands, and seeking joy in word searches, bingo, Brewers games, and the rush of racing. The music of her son David’s guitar, whether alone or with his band, filled her with pride and joy, echoing the rhythm of family.
Those who remain to carry her story include her beloved husband, Donald Blecher, her companion of 40 years and husband of 24; her children: Angel Mertz of Janesville, Amanda Preston (Cameron) of Janesville, and David Blecher (Rachel) of Burnett; her loyal furry companion, Tonto; six grandchildren, Isabel, Jade, Isaiah, Leland, Kristofer, and Silas; two animal grandkids, Ducky and Skip; her sisters, Lisa Finke, Tammy Stelter, and Cindy Mertz; and a circle of relatives and friends whose lives she touched like ripples on a lake.
Corinna now walks softly into the arms of her ancestors, welcomed by her parents and her dearly missed sister, Sueann Marie Mertz. As the eagle soars high above the pines and rivers, her spirit finds peace in those who went before.
A gathering to honor Corinna’s life and spirit will be held at a later date, where stories will be shared and her memory cherished.
The Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service has been entrusted with Corinna Blecher's arrangements. Additional information and a guest book are available at www.myrhum-patten.com.
