Cheryl K. Klemme, 76, of the town of Wayne, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
Cheryl was born on October 5, 1948, in West Bend, the daughter of the late William and Virginia (nee Serwe) Roehrdanz. Her early years she attended St. Mary’s Catholic School, followed by her time at West Bend High School, where she continued to grow into the thoughtful woman her family cherished. On May 11, 1979, Cheryl found her lifelong partner in Carl Klemme, and together they built a life rooted in love and laughter in their hometown. Though Carl passed away on November 24, 2024, the bond they shared remained a guiding light in Cheryl’s heart. Cheryl’s passions were woven into the fabric of her daily life—music that stirred the soul, books that opened new worlds, and the gentle rhythm of needle and yarn. Her talent for crewel embroidery and knitting wasn’t just a hobby—it was a love language. Every new member of the family could count on receiving a handmade treasure stitched with care, affection, and a few curse words. When the cards were dealt, Cheryl was always ready for a never ending game with her family filled with chatter and the question, “whose turn is it” where laughter and stories flowed as freely as the beer. She had her rituals too—never missing an episode of her favorite shows or a Green Bay Packers game, cheering with unwavering loyalty. Cheryl only had “One Life To Live” she will forever be “Young and Restless” and was always there to help others “Live long and prosper”
