Charles J. “Chuck” Respondi Jr., 70, of West Bend, was called home to be with his Lord on February 7, 2026, at Froedtert West Bend Hospital.

Chuck entered this world on November 20, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, a blessing to his parents, the late Charles Sr. and Annette (nee Ernst) Respondi. On April 1, 1976, he joined hands and hearts with Gail Soliz in Schaumburg, Illinois, beginning a marriage that would grow into nearly fifty years of steadfast love, an earthly reflection of God’s enduring covenant.

A proud fan of the Blackhawks and the Chicago Bears, Chuck carried the spirit of his hometown in everything he did. For forty faithful years, he worked with dedication at Snap-On Tool, giving his best with the quiet strength that defined him.

He found peace in the simple gifts of creation, especially fishing on Leach Lake, where the water, the sky, and the stillness spoke to him. He loved bowling, golfing, traveling, and escaping to Florida during the winter months, savoring the beauty of God’s world wherever he went.

Above all, Chuck was a devoted father and a grandfather whose heart overflowed for his family. His love for them, and for his beloved wife, was the center of his life. He cherished every moment, every laugh, every memory.

He enjoyed watching Fox News, especially keeping an eye on the market ticker rolling across the bottom of the screen. But the greatest turning point in his life came when he found his spiritual home at New Life Church in West Bend. There, he discovered a deeper relationship with God, one that shaped his final years with hope, gratitude, and joy.

Chuck loved life, fully, openly, and without reservation. And in loving life, he reflected the One who gave it.

Those Chuck leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Gail; three sons, Charles III Respondi (Trang Vu), Vincent Respondi, and Steven (Anissa) Respondi; grandchildren, Grace, Brian, Lily, Alice, Aniastee, and Joe; a brother, Joe Respondi; his bother and sister-in-law, Julie Soliz and Mario Soliz; other relatives and friends.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Annette Respondi and his parents-in-law, Vincent and Ruth Soliz.

VISITATION: Chucks family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at New Life Church, (4125 Co Hwy D, West Bend, WI).

SERVICE: A memorial service for Chuck will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at New Life Church with Pastor Aaron Hunter officiating.
