Carol Marie Krajcik, 85 of Kewaskum, formerly of West Bend, was called home to her Savior’s side on Friday, April 17, at Hope Senior Living in Lomira.
Carol was born on December 25th, 1940, in Milwaukee, WI to the late Arthur and Lydia Ellingson. She was made a child of God through baptism on February 16, 1941 at Mt. Lebanon Lutheran Church, Milwaukee, and confirmed on May 22, 1955 at Mt. Lebanon.
On June 16, 1962 Larry was united in marriage to Carol Ellingson at Mt. Lebanon. They were blessed with 56 years of marriage and four children.
In the early chapters of her life, Carol embraced the role of homemaker, pouring her heart into raising her children. When she and Larry purchased Horizon Flag and Banner in Milwaukee in 1986, it became a shared passion, one they nurtured together for more than three decades. Carol’s kitchen was her canvas, where she expressed her love through cooking and baking for those she cherished most. She and Larry also treasured the adventures they took together in their younger years, traveling side by side. Carol was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Allenton.
She is survived by her children, Cary (Sue) Krajcik of Oconomowoc, Becky (Ricky) Baumeister of Slinger, and Christine (Steve) Bode of Allenton; 9 grandchildren: Samantha (Tom) Staude, Kimberly (Jon) Hoesly, Thomas (Joanna) Krajcik, Luke Krajcik, Matthew (Lauren) Krajcik, Molly Krajcik, Paul Baumeister, Britney (Ian) Kuhn, and Anna Bode; 8 great-grandchildren, Brady Staude, Elena Staude, Cody Staude, Caleb Hoesly, August Hoesly, Lincoln Krajcik, Blakely Kuhn, and Eleanor Krajcik. She is further survived by sisters-in-law, Marty Ellingson, Judy (Phil) Naumann, Bonnie Krajcik, and Liz (Dave Kiener) as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Krajcik, her son Lee Krajcik; parents, Arthur and Lydia Ellingson; parents-in-law, Harry and Irene Krajcik; brother David Ellingson, sister-in-law, Eleanor “Tootie” Krajcik; and a brother-in-law, Terry (Kathi) Krajcik.
A funeral service for Carol will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church (6430 County Road D. Allenton, WI 53002). The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. Burial will follow immediately in the church cemetery.
