Carol Ann
Gatavetsky
December 17, 1940 – April 21, 2026
Carol Ann Gatavetsky, 85, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 21,
2026.
Carol was born on December 17, 1940 to the late James and Opal Friese. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and joyful great-grandmother. Carol’s kindness and warmth touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was a proud homemaker who found great joy in raising her three daughters, creating a home filled with love, and lasting memories. She was an exceptional cook who expressed her love through every meal she prepared, bringing family together around the table with comfort and tradition.
After all the pain and suffering she endured, may she now find eternal peace in the arms of the Lord. She has been called home, where she rests in grace, free from all burdens, and shines as angel watching over us.
Though she is no longer with us, her love remains forever in our hearts. We will miss her deeply and carry her memory with us always
Those left to cherish Carol’s memory include her children; Tammy, Terry, and Kimberly, 9 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren
In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her late husband John Charles Gatevetsky.
Per Carol’s wishes no formal services will be held, however a Celebration of Life at a will be planned at later date this summer.
Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Carol’s arrangements. Additional information and guest book can be found at www.myrhum-patten.com.
