Obituary

Carlos R Lopez, 23, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Carlos was born on December 26, 2002, in Menomonee Falls to Roberto Lopez and Julie Day. He graduated from Lomira High School, Class of 2021. Carlos was a member of the Mayville Boy Scouts, Troop 718, where he achieved the rank of Life Scout. Carlos was a member of St. Theresa Parish and was confirmed as a member of the parish on 5 Aug 2020

He enjoyed the outdoors, whether riding around on three-wheelers or carving through the snow on his snowmobile. He enjoyed being on the trails and seeing where they took him. When he wasn't riding around, he could be found working on his trucks. One of his biggest passions was working on and restoring trucks, bringing them back to life. While he loved to work on trucks, he also liked to show them off, often going to truck shows and placing his trucks in them for others to be able to view. Carlos also found time each year to make a trip down to Mexico to visit with family and enjoy the mountain views.

Those left to cherish Carlos’s memory include his parents, Roberto Lopez and Julie Day; siblings, Antonio Lopez, Oscar Lopez, Victor Lopez, and Chloe Loughrin; many aunts, uncles, grandparents, relatives, and friends.

Carlos is preceded in death by Marty Miller.
