Byron “Tim” Julius Gessner, age 71 years, of Beechwood was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 6, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan surrounded by his loving family.
Byron was born on August 27, 1953, in Sheboygan to Byron and Rosella Gessner (Dobke). He was united in marriage to Sharon Ann Vande Boom on May 8, 1976, at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Beechwood.
Byron graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1971. He went on to attend a year-long Ag-Business program at UW-Madison. Byron worked on the family dairy farm alongside his father. He eventually took over the farm with his wife and children. In 2000, the cows were sold, but he continued farming the land. Cedar Lake Sand & Gravel was his next venture. He retired from Country Visions Cooperative in 2020. Byron and Sharon enjoyed their retirement together, and they took pride in keeping their home and property looking proper. He enjoyed working in his woodshop and being out in the woods. Byron was dedicated to his Lighthouse Christian Church family.
