Brett T. Schemenauer, 48, of Grafton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, November 23, 2018, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.

Brett was born on February 14, 1970, in Milwaukee. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends and family. Brett was a Dallas Cowboys fan and watching sports in general. His dog, Riley, was very special to him. Brett was very proud of his kids and their accomplishments and loved them more than life itself.

Those Brett leaves behind to cherish his memory include two children, Tyler Schemenauer and Emily Schemenauer; his mother, Kathryn (John) Olson; a sister, Nicole (Joel) Bessey; two nephews, Owen and Evan Bessey; his special dog, Riley; other relatives and friends.

Brett was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Gerhard Rusch; his paternal grandparents, Patricia and Gerald Schemenauer; and an aunt, Cheri Rusch.

A memorial visitation for Brett will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend.
