Brenda D. Hansen (Gruber), age 61 years, of Campbellsport, formerly of Kewaskum was called to rest by the Lord on May 9, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Brenda was born on October 7, 1960 in Kewaskum to Andrew and Alice Gruber  (Krueger).  She was united in marriage to Gary E. Hansen on April 19, 1985.

Brenda graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1978.  She was past owner of beauty salons in Kewaskum - Shear Heaven and B & B Productions.  In recent years, she worked for Advocate Aurora as an Informatic Specialist.

Brenda was an avid crafter and the creator of the most delectable sweet treats that anyone has ever had.  She also owned Barn Door Bakery in Campbellsport.  Above all else, Brenda loved her family!

Those Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband of 37 years, Gary; son, Adam (Kristina) Hansen; daughter, Dana (Justin) Yurk; and granddaughter and Grandma B’s favorite girl, Lacey.

She is further survived by her mother, Alice Gruber; siblings,  Carmen (Mike) Gruber, Darryl Gruber, Sherry (Dale) Carter, John (Laurie) Gruber, Paul (Barb) Gruber, Annie (Rod) Wiedmeyer, and  Charlie Gruber; sister-in law; Kathryn (Tim) Danielson; and brothers-in-law, Eugene Weiskopf and Harold Ramthun; as well as a small village of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Gruber; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Florence Hansen; and sisters-in-law, Karen Weiskopf and Eileen Ramthun.

Brenda was a big believer in signs from those that have passed on. Many of us ourselves have been seeing signs since her passing that very much let us know that she's here and watching over us.

A Funeral Service in Celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 8:00 pm at Myrhum Patten Funeral Home (215 Forest Ave – Kewaskum, WI  53040).  The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at the funeral home from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm.  The graveside service and burial with be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11:00 am at Peace UCC Cemetery in Kewaskum (Hwy 28 West).
