Bernadette Ann Thorn

Bernadette Ann Thorn (nee Simon), 79, was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Bernadette was born on August 21, 1945 in Fond du Lac, to the late Claver and Margaret Simon (nee Bach). Bernadette was united in marriage to Robert Thorn on June 12, 1965 and would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Farm life in Kewaskum kept her busy along with her dogs brought her joy.

Bernie's compassionate nature inspired her to care for others, always offering a kind word to those around her.

Those left to cherish Bernadette’s memory include her husband, Robert Thorn; son, Brian Thorn; siblings, Kathleen Yogerst; Carol Smet; Mary Simon; Joseph Simon; Sherry (Ken) Taylor along with many nieces and nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, Bernadette is preceded in death by, brothers; Anthony (Barbara) Simon; James (Cindy) Simon, Brother-in-law Ronald Yogerst and Sister-in-law, Shirley Thorn.

VISITATION: Bernadette’s family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (331 Main Street, Kewaskum, WI).

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 12:00 p.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Patrick Magnor officiating the service.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Fields for their compassion and care for Bernadette, including Nurse Jeff for his care not only to Bernadette but the family.
