Beatrice M. Timmerman

April 25, 1922 — October 15, 2014

Beatrice M. Timmerman, 92, of the town of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Ivy Manor in Jackson, with her daughters at her side.

She was born on April 25, 1922, in Winnipeg, Canada, the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice (Turner) Sonnenberg, and on December 29, 1943, she was united in marriage to Walter Timmerman in Rolla, North Dakota. Walter preceded Beatrice in death on March 24, 1992.

Beatrice was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane where she belonged to the Ladies LCW as well as the Pep Club. She owned and operated the Bar-N-Ranch with her husband for approximately 45 years. Beatrice will fondly be remembered as one who enjoyed listening to the Lutheran Hour on the radio. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and by all who knew her.

Those Beatrice leaves behind to cherish her memory include two daughters, Cheryl (William) Gehl and Karen (Leon) Schultz both of the town of Auburn; five grandchildren, Kirk (Theresa) Gehl, Carrie (Brian) Rose, Lauren (Jeffrey) Jacobi, Leslie Schultz (fiance, Jon Wilda) and Kristin Schultz; seven great-grandchildren, Myles and Emily Jacobi, Kirin and Lucas Rose, Liam Schultz, and Sylvia and Dylan Gehl; a brother-in-law, Wesley Timmerman of Rolla, North Dakota; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Timmerman of Rolla, North Dakota and Mary Ann (Stuart) Sander of Long Prairie, Minnesota, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Beatrice was preceded in death by a son, Steven Timmerman; a daughter, Jill Timmerman; two brother-in-laws, Edwin and Harvey Timmerman and three sisters-in-law, Ella Mae (Harvey) Schmidt, and Lorna and Freda Timmerman.

Funeral services for Beatrice were held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane. Rev. Mark Eckert officiated and burial followed in the church cemetery.

Beatrice's family greeted relatives and friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Memorials are appreciated.

The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Beatrice's arrangements.

Beatrice's family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Ivy Manor in Jackson and Seasons Hospice for their tender care and loving support given to Beatrice.
