Obituary

Allen Robert Brath, age 66, passed away on August 2, 2026. Born November 28, 1959, Allen was a devoted family man and a devout Catholic whose faith and love for his family shaped everything he did.

Allen is survived by his wife, Jane Brath; his son, Joshua Brath; his daughter-in-law, Marina Brath; his granddaughter, Holland; and his siblings, Janet Melzer, Karen Keller, Donny Brath, and Ken Brath. In addition to his parents, George and Frances Brath, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Morton Whitney; his brothers, Fr. John Brath and Karl Brath; his infant sister, Anna Mae Brath; his brother-in-law, Harlo Keller; his sister-in-law, Dorothy Brath; and his stepfather, Ray Schmidt.

He was the proud grandfather of one-year-old Holland, and looked forward to their FaceTime calls, along with visits from the family dog, Hagrid.

Allen was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers, the Green Bay Packers, and Kansas Jayhawks basketball, always with Jane and Josh by his side. Music was another great love of his life, and he had a lasting passion for rock bands. Some of his happiest memories were the family’s yearly trips to Door County with Jane and Josh.

Above all, Allen will be remembered as a kind, devoted, and loving father, husband, and grandfather.

The family is holding a private service. For anyone wishing to send their condolences, please send to Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremations Services, 1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095.
