Obituary

Alice L. Krueger, 75, of Mayville passed away on October 22, 2026 with her loving family by her side.

Alice was born to Donald and Amilda (nee Machmueller) Walters on April 17, 1951 in Hustisford, WI. She graduated from Mayville High School in 1969.

Alice was united in marriage to the late Dennis Krueger on July 26, 1969 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where they were both lifetime members.

She was not only a loving wife and mother. She was responsible for taking care of everything at home while Dennis was on the road. When their children were old enough, she worked the summer months at the Mayville Canning Company. She later started cleaning and bartending part-time. She worked for Sue Weinberger (a very good friend of hers) at the Feedmill Bar and Grill in Knowles for many years. She enjoyed bowling, camping, yarn crafts, diamond dots, and just being with her friends. Spending time with her family was her greatest pleasure of all.

Alice will be remembered by her three children, Danny (Nicole Rauch) Krueger of Waupun, Jennifer (Joel) Harmsen of Oakfield, and Samantha (Curtis) Schlieve of Waupun; eight grandchildren, Isabelle, Marissa, Morgan, Ava, Austin, Riley, Evan, and Hayven; son-in-law, Jerry Clark; four sisters, Bonnie (Dan) Sanger, Linda Haddy, Sandy (Jim) Seering, and Barbara (Bob) Holzem; three brothers, David (Mary Ann) Walters, Merlin (Vicki) Walters, and Kenny (Diane) Walters; sisters-in-law, Diane Walters, Sandy (Mark) Wessel, Christine (friend Tracy) Krueger, Mardell (Mike) Sabel, and Cindy Krueger; brothers-in-law, Virgil (Cindy) Krueger, Todd (friend Karol) Krueger, and many more relatives, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Alice is reunited in Heaven with her husband, Dennis; daughter, Sherri Clark; parents, Donald and Amilda Walters; brothers, Robert Walters and Donald Walters, Jr.; in-laws, Harvey and Doris Krueger; Jerry Haddy, Greg Krueger, Beverly Schuster, Frances Schuster, and nephew, Scott Wessel.

Alice’s wishes are to have a private service.

The family would like to thank the Christian Home for their care and compassion given to Alice, along with Kristen from SSM Hospice for her time, care, and compassion she gave to Alice.
