Obituary

Albert Niel Gaeth, 81, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, with his family by his side.

Albert was born on November 4, 1944, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Paul and Hilda Gaeth (nee Nemeth). Albert proudly served his country in the Air Force. He was an AP-K9—Air Police with a dog— and combat Vietnam Veteran. He was united in marriage to Crystal Boufford on April 1, 1967, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin. He completed an apprenticeship and was a Journeyman Millwright for forty years. A millwright installs and maintains conveyor systems. For twenty plus years of his career, he worked as a millwright for the Pabst Brewing Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was an avid fisherman on Little Cedar Lake and other lakes in the surrounding counties. He enjoyed woodworking and making various items big and small for family and friends.

Those left to cherish Albert’s memory include his wife of 59 years, Crystal; children, Michelle Gaeth Blok (Glen Blok) and Alexander Gaeth (Sandra Kapellen Gaeth); grandchildren, Michaela Millard, Jeremy Gaeth (Grace D’Amico Gaeth), Nathan Millard, and Alyssa Gaeth; great granddaughter, Addison Lee Gaeth. Special family members include, Trevor Blok and sons - Adam, Caldwell, and Boden, Tyler Blok, Tanner Blok and daughter Aurora and Trenton Blok. Also included are nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends and neighbors.

In addition to his parents, Albert is preceded in death by his sister, Darleen Meyer, and his brother, Paul Gaeth.

VISITATION: Albert’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10:00 am until 11:45 am, at St. John’s Lutheran Church (809 S. 6th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095).

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for Albert will take place following visitation at 12:00 pm, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, with Pastor Chris Dhuse officiating the service. Cremains to be interred at later date at Southern Wisconsin Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
