Adela H. Pamperin, 90, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Adela was born on June 3,1936, in West Bend to the late George and Esther Pamperin (nee Schwertz). Growing up on a family farm, Adela developed a lifelong passion for her beloved cats, who brought her immense joy and companionship throughout her life.
After leaving the farm, Adela lived in West Bend. Adela devoted many years to her job at Threshold, where she was committed to working to the best of her ability. She was very independent, walking to work and shopping from her downtown apartment.
In later years, as life presented its challenges, she became a resident at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau. There, Adela’s spunky attitude endeared her to both staff and fellow residents. Her feisty comments brought a smile to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A woman of deep faith, Adela possessed a profound knowledge of the Bible and embraced her spirituality with unwavering conviction. Her faith shaped and guided her through life's challenges, instilling in her a remarkable strength and touching those around her.
Those left to cherish Adela’s memory include her nieces, nephews, and other friends.
In addition to her parents, Adela is preceded in death by her sisters, Verona (Donald) Sterr and Lucille (Armond) Czoschke; brother Arthur (Diana) Pamperin; and three nephews.
