Wesley "Wes" W. Weinhold

September 21, 1943 ~ October 3, 2019 (age 76)

Wesley "Wes" W. Weinhold, 76 of Fredonia passed away on Thursday, October 03, 2019 at his home.

He was born on September 21, 1943 to the late Raymond and Cornelia (nee Huenink) Weinhold in Milwaukee WI. Wes went to grade school at St. John’s Lutheran in Sherman Center and graduated from Random Lake High School. He went on to graduate from Valparaiso University for his Bachelors of Science, then received his master’s in Physics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and his masters in computer science from the University of Washington in Seattle. He worked as a computer programmer for various companies for many years. On January 2, 1982 he was united in marriage to Peggy “Peg” Cadigan in Sheboygan WI. After moving to Fillmore, Wisconsin in 1988, he worked as an independent master electrician and farmer. Wes was devoted to working his permaculture farm taking care of his chickens, geese, horse, and his saint bernard, Anya. He was a dedicated 4-H leader and head of the West Bend Theatre project. Wes was an avid reader of all types of books. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those Wes leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Peg Cadigan; two children, Brendan (Stina) Pederson-Weinhold and Melina (Ca Danh) Maack; three grandchildren, Lochlan Pederson-Weinhold, Tai Danh, and Kira Danh; three brothers, Delmer (Barb) Weinhold, Gerhard (Patty) Lucey-Weinhold, and David (Roseann) Weinhold; a brother-in-law, David Diener; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Eileen Diener.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a celebration of life in remembrance of Wes to follow immediately.

Memorials to Riveredge Nature Center or the Washington County 4-H Club in Wes’s name are appreciated by the family.
