Terence "Terry" Ryan

Terence “Terry” Ryan, age 71 years, of West Bend passed away on August 9, 2019 at Marquardt Hospice in Watertown surrounded by his loving family.

Terry was born on November 11, 1947 in LaCrosse to Francis “Homer” and Mary Ryan  (Pendleton).  He was united in marriage to Susan Tischaefer on August 31, 1968 in Milwaukee.

Terry graduated in the class of 1967 from Washington High School in Milwaukee.  He worked at Evinrude Motors for 20 years then was a Tool & Cutter Grinder at Triangle Tool for over 20 years.  Terry retired in 2016.  He enjoyed woodworking and was a Scout Leader for many years.

Those Terry leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife of 50 years, Susan; three children, Amy Keller, Scott Ryan and Kevin (Kim) Ryan; six grandchildren, Shelby (Tom) Milner, Kyle Ryan, Meghan Ryan, Alec Ryan, Madison Holder, and Molly Ryan; four great-grandchildren, Peyton, Quinn, Amora, and Bennett; two sisters, Kathleen Meyer and Alice Ryan; two sisters-in-law, Betty Ryan and Sherry (Richard) Teel;  and one brother-in-law, Glenn (Susan) Tischaefer.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Ryan; and brother-in-law, Edward Meyer.

Funeral Service for Terry will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Myrhum Patten Miller Kietzer Funeral Home (1315 W Washington St.  – West Bend, WI  53095) with Deacon Mike Koebel officiating. 

Terry’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. 

Terry’s family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Marquardt Hospice for the loving care they provided.
