Scott Daniel Droese, 48, of West Bend, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.
Scott was born on March 5, 1969, in Hartford, Wisconsin the son of Daniel Droese and Nancy (nee Kuehl) Lindert. Scott was a graduate of Slinger High School in the class of 1987. Not only did Scott have a love for all sports, he was an avid sports fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, the Green Bay Packers, and NASCAR racing. Scott also loved to cook, especially his tacos and Friday fish fries. Scott loved to do crossword puzzles and he played a mean game of scrabble. He had a love for history of WWII and Germany.
Those Scott leaves behind to cherish his memory include two daughters, Samantha (Diana) Droese of San Antonio and Courtney Droese of Hartford; his parents, Daniel Droese of West Bend and Nancy (Marlyn) Lindert of Slinger; a sister, Lisa (Barb) Sohrweide of Port Washington; a nephew, Zach Sohrweide of Port Washington; other relatives and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clemence Droese and Edmund and Hazel Weidmeyer; his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Frieda Kuehl; his uncles, Fred Lehn, George Donahue, Vernon Jung, Ronnie Droese, Rodger Droese, Harold Droese, and Gerald Gramms; and his aunts, Bernice Lehn and Millie Donahue.
In honor of Scott’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the doctors and nursing staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital ICU care team for the outstanding care that was shown to Scott and for the compassionate attention they gave to his family.
