Ruby G. Dalle Nogare, (nee Mittelstadt), passed away quietly at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac, WI on April 20, 2018 surrounded by family.

She was born on Feb 26, 1929 in Mayville WI. Mother married her beloved husband, John on May 21, 1949 at St. Mary’s Church in Lomira. They started their life together that was blessed for 65 years together.

They had ten children and mother devoted her life to caring for her children. She also became a Foster mother for nine years.

Mother was an excellent cook, baker and dessert maker. Tortes were her specialty.

She loved to sew, crochet and knit; making countless mittens, caps and scarfs. Mother made every first grandchild their baptismal gown and blanket, an heirloom to cherish for generations to come. But the priceless Afghans she made for her children and grandchildren gave her such joy. She made numerous newborn caps and donated them to a hospital. She was a member of Craft Ladies of Hope Nursing Home in Lomira and made many Afghans, and other crafts to raise money for the residents.

She worked as a waitress at Schreiner’s restaurant in Fond du Lac & Camelot Country Club. She also worked in the bakery at the Piggly Wiggly in Lomira.

Mother enjoyed her flowers, watching the birds and playing bingo. When her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren would come to visit there was always a meal or dessert to enjoy.

Those Ruby leaves behind to cherish her memory include her nine children and eighteen grandchildren; John (Ellen), and Donald and Leigh Ann; James (Robin), and Kristina, Dominic, and Timothy;  Mary (Larry), and Terese, Amy, and Sara; Daniel (Mary), and Angie and Danielle; Gerald (Kathy), and Derek; Diane, and Katie, Tyler, and Eric; Donna, and Erin, Christopher, Timothy, and Tony;  David (Lyra), and Patrick and Nicolas; and Marie; 18 Great Grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; niece, Donna Mae & nephew, Jake; two sisters in-law, Lena Paleologo and Albina Campagna and other relatives and friends.
