Some of you may remember cousin Angie Koepke. She was Carl's mom and Rose was very special to her. They traveled together for at least one trip, maybe more. I remember her during my more frequent hospital stays. She always asked about Angie and we had good conversations. She was such a caring person and it was so nice to have her looking out for me. I remember her fondly! God's comfort to her family... Arlene and Carl

Rose was a Barton fixture. If someone needed help, they had only to ask. She was a living saint in my estimation. My mother loved her from working with her in many organizations. When I needed help because I live across the country, I turned to Rose, and she stepped right up to help. I was in WB last summer and heard she lived at Samaritan. I went to visit and kiss her; and spoke loudly enough for her to hear (and the aides and nurses could hear) about my love and respect for her for her contributions to the entire community. Who will follow in her footsteps today?
