Richard W. “Rick” Metz, 41, of Kewaskum, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, while at home with his mother at his side.
He was born on October 24, 1975, in West Bend, the son of Diann Klein and Kenneth (Linda) Metz.
Rick was raised in Kewaskum and attended Kewaskum Schools. He was an avid sports fans and followed his teams closely. Rick enjoyed WWE Wrestling, video games, and watching nature.
Those Rick leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving mother Diann Klein of Kewaskum; his father, Kenneth (Linda) Metz of Arizona City, AZ; a brother, Michael Metz of Racine; a sister-in-law, Corina Metz of Kewaskum a grandmother, Margaret Metz of West Bend, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Rick was preceded in death by a brother, Charles “Chuck” Metz; his maternal grandparents, Willard and Burnette Klein, and his paternal grandfather, Mathias Metz.
A Private Family Service for Rick will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2017, at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 4930 Beaver Dam Rd, in West Bend with Rev. Paul Reede officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church or Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School are appreciated.
The Metz family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Pastor, Mrs. Reede, the church council, and all the members of St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran church for their prayers and concern.
