I am so sad to hear of Rich's passing. My condolences to his family and friends, I will keep him in my prayers. Rich and I attended Messmer together and I always thought of him as one of my great friends. We had wonderful conversations about God and people and whenever I thought of him, it made me smile. We didn't see much of each other over the last 50+ years but when we did we picked up as if we had seen each other the week before, there are not many people about whom you can say that. Over 30 years of us and Rich. Vacations - both good and not so good ;) Constant discussions about God, Evolution ...not politics because we were in agreement! We will miss him a lot.
