Rachel L. Wolter, 45, of Madison, found peace on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Sharon R. Richardson Community Hospice, Sheboygan Falls, WI. God has called his special angel home after blessing her with 45 years of life.
She was born on May 7, 1972 to Lyle Wolter and Linda Reimer (nee Christensen) in Beaver Dam. Rachel spent the first three years of her life living at home in Mayville. At the age of three Rachel moved to the Wisconsin Central Center, where she received her education and enjoyed the rest of her life. She especially enjoyed listening to music, being outdoors, and going for rides in her wheelchair. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Those Rachel leaves behind to cherish her memory include her mother, Linda Riemer; her father, Lyle Wolter; an uncle, Ronald (Charlene) Christensen; many cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her step-father, Duane Riemer; an uncle, David Christensen; maternal grandparents, Florence and Vaughn Christensen; and paternal grandparents, Viola and Marvin Wolter.
A funeral service in remembrance of Rachel will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, N683 County Road S., New Fane. Rev. Mark Eckert will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
A special thank you to the Wisconsin Central Center for all their hard work and their tender and compassionate care and to the Sharon R. Richardson Hospice Center for the compassionate care for the short time she was there.
