To Matthew's Parents and Family-
There's a saying that God never gives us more burdens that we can bear... And if that's true, then God must think you're very, very strong. Praying that your hearts will be filled with the peace of God while you grieve. Know that you are never alone and God loves you far more than any words can express.
With Caring Sympathy and Prayers,
Austin & Monica Luedtke

I had the privilege of seeing Matthew when he came into the library at Silverbrook, and the day was always a little brighter when he was around. It's true that he was a light in the world, and that he had a wonderful sense of humor. My deepest condolences to your family.

Matthew was such a wonderful kid, always full of life and exuberance. It was always delightful hearing his jokes and he loved being the center of attention. He definitely was proof that you should never allow life's hindrances slow you down. It is heart wrenching to lose a child and we will keep all of you in our prayers.

All the breath went out of me when my daughter told us here in of Matthew's passing. Even though I only knew him during our grandparent visits to her and her family there on Hunter's Road, it only took meeting Matthew once to know here was a very remarkable and significant personality. For their sake, I am very grateful that he was part of my grandchildren's lives. I know their friendship with him has affected them in a very good and important way. Please know there are broken hearts in Connecticut.
