Lorena Johanna Wagner

Lorena Johanna “Lucky” Wagner (nee Eichstedt), 84, of the Town of Auburn, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Silverado Oak Village in Menomonee Falls, WI.

She was born on January 8, 1934 in Kewaskum, the daughter of the late Arthur and Lydia (nee Holschen) Eichstedt. Lorena grew up on the family farm, twirling batons with sister Ruth and riding her horse Lucky with friends and future husband, Albert “Al” Wagner. On October 4, 1952, she was united in marriage to Al at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee. Al preceded Lorena in death on May 17, 2011. Lorena and Al raised two daughters, Karen Wagner of Shoreline, WA and Maxine (Michael) Mullennix of West Bend. She enjoyed making stained glass lamps, landscaping and flower gardening. She will be dearly missed.

Those Lorena leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Maxine (Michael) Mullennix; her sister, Ruth Anderson of Port Charlotte, Fl.; many dear nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends including Paula and Frank Kutz of Kewaskum who stood up in their wedding.

In addition to her parents, Lorena was preceded in death by her husband, Al and daughter, Karen in 2011; five brothers, Lester, Oliver, Byron, Henry, and Lehman; and two sisters, Violet Steger and Verna Krueger.

A funeral service in remembrance of Lorena will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 215 Forest Ave., in Kewaskum. Burial will follow in Campbellsport Union Cemetery.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home in Kewaskum on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
