Lois Ethel (Erber) Neumann

March 26, 1926 ~ September 26, 2017 (age 91) 91 Years Old

Lois E. Neumann, 91, of Campbellsport, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. She was born in Fillmore on March 26, 1926, the daughter of the late Phillip and Capitola Erber. Lois grew up in Fillmore on the family farm. She met her future husband when they drove together to high school in West Bend and also played baseball on opposing teams.  They were married on March 16, 1946 and began farming in the Little Kohler area.  They moved in 1957 to the town of Belgium where they continued farming and together raised seven children.  After retirement, they wintered in Florida for 23 years where they made many friends, golfed, and played shuffleboard. Lois was also an avid gardener, bowler, card player, and enjoyed many crafts. She also decorated cakes and made all of her children’s wedding cakes.

Those Lois leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 71 years, Donald; children, Allen (Diane), Donna (Keith) Cotter, Jo Ann (Neil) Wagner, Jim (Linda), Betty (Jeff) Vreeke, Sue Hedding (Mike Francis), and Sarah (Roger) Sandell; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.  She is further survived by her sister, Arlene Schmidt; her brother, Willis Erber; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Lois’ family would like to thank all of her caregivers, especially friends Mary Schrauth and Donna Rohlinger for their loving care and support.
