Lawrence "Larry" F. Hall

Lawrence “Larry” Hall, 81, of West Bend passed away peacefully on Saturday September 21, 2019 at the Samaritan Nursing Home in West Bend.

He was born on October 29, 1937 to the late Elmer and Lorraine (nee Fouts) Hall in Milwaukee WI. Larry graduated from Cedarburg High School, where he met his high school sweetheart, Valerie Mason. On May 9, 1959 they were united in marriage and started their family.

Larry enjoyed his snowmobiles, working on vintage cars, boats, and anything with a motor His all-time passion was hunting and fishing If Larry didn’t have a wrench or tool in hand, it was a fishing rod or gun. He spent years going to Wyoming hunting, and spent weekend on Lake Michigan fishing. Whatever John Gillespie thought he knew about fishing, Larry already knew. Larry shared his love of hunting and fishing with family and friends, whether they enjoyed it or not. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Those Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory include his three children, Linda Preschat, Laurie (Brian) Fuller, and John (Michelle) Hall; five grandchildren, Kassy (Richard) Loberger, Kyle (Jolene) Karnitz, Alisha Hall, Christian Hall, and Brandon Fuller; three great grandchildren, Lucas, Liam, and Christoph; his brother, Jeffery Hall; many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Hall; a son, Allen; his brother, William “Billy” Hall; and a sister, Sharon Trostel.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a short service in remembrance of Larry to follow immediately. There will be a small lunch provided afterwards for those who wish to stay and talk for a short while.
