Joan Becker Obituary
Joan “Joanie” M. Becker, 71, of Slinger found peace on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
She was born on October 27, 1948 to the late Gordon and Florence (nee Walter) Becker in Milwaukee, WI. Joanie went to grade school at St. Frances Cabrini. She graduated from West Bend High School class of 1967. Joanie worked as a correspondent at the West Bend Company after high school. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. Joanie collected thimbles, plates, and spoons. She enjoyed traveling, swimming, snowmobiling, and listening to rock music of the 50’s and 60’s. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Those Joanie leaves behind to cherish her memory include her son, Jason (Sarah) Otto; her grandson; Payden Otto; two sisters, Karen (Bill) Brockman and Barbara (Kenny) Johnson; other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Florence Becker.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday January 31, 2020 at 1 P.M. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. 7th St., West Bend.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church from 11 A.M. until the time of mass.
