Iris M. Seefeldt

Iris M. Seefeldt, 85, of New Fane, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.

Iris was born on April 18, 1933, in Parnell, the daughter of the late Lauren and Norma (nee Suemnicht) Falk. On June 13, 1953, she was united in marriage to Harold Seefeldt at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cascade. Harold preceded Iris in death on December 3, 2009.

Iris was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Fane. She was employed by Regal Ware for 25 years and was a 25 Year Club member. Iris loved to crochet and enjoyed birdwatching.

Those Iris leaves behind to cherish her memory include four children, Glenn (Cheryl) Seefeldt, Ryan (Rita) Seefeldt, Steve (Donna) Seefeldt, and Patrice Seefeldt (special friend and life partner, DuWayne Schacht); three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Mark) Kimble, Jared Seefeldt, Adam Seefeldt; two great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Alice Kimble; a brother, Bruce (Bev) Falk; a sister, Myra (Don) Deppiesse; step-sister, Sandy (Tom) Ingram; step-brother, Gary (Jackie) Nachreiner, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Iris was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Falk; a sister, Letha (Cliff) Wendorf; a foster sister, Betty (Alfred) Demarice; her step-father, Harold Nachreiner and a granddaughter, Kristin Seefeldt.

A memorial service for Iris will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church, N683 County Road S, Kewaskum (New Fane). Rev. Mark Eckert will officiate and burial of her cremains will take place on Thursday in the parish cemetery.

Iris’ family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
