Catherine (Gaughan) Mikolajczak

Catherine T. Mikolajczak (Nee Gaughan), 76, of West Bend, WI (formerly Milwaukee) peacefully passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, surrounded by family.

Cathy was born in Chicago, IL on July 1, 1942 to Patrick and Catherine (Nee Geraghty) Gaughan. She attended St. Bartholomew Catholic Elementary School, where she met her loving and doting husband of 53 years, Michael Mikolajczak. She also attended The Immaculata Catholic All Girls High School.

Cathy is survived by Mike, her five children: Jeff (Amy) Mikolajczak, Dan Mikolajczak (Gail Mullett), Noreen (Peter) Onesti, Peggy (Jason) Bickert, and Tim (Colleen) Mikolajczak. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Kevin, Brittany, Alison, Jacob, Kyle, Olivia, Emma, Ella, Matthew, Liam, Gwyneth, and Baby Michael due in February, and step-grandchildren: Connor, Brooke and Natalie Mullett. Cathy is also survived by her sister, Margaret Mary (Mark) Zirngibl, sisters-in-law: Rose Mary Gaughan, Lorraine Gaughan, Carol (John) Lettiere, and many beloved nieces and nephews, and greatnieces and greatnephews.

She is preceded in death by her brothers: John, James and Patrick; her sister Anna Mae; sisters-in-law Evelyn Halvorsen, Virginia Gaughan, brother-in-law George Halvorsen, nephews Patrick and Jimmy Gaughan; Irene and William Mikolajczak and her parents.

Visitation will be held at St. Francis Cabrini, 1025 S 7th Ave, West Bend, WI on Saturday, December 22, from 9:30am; Funeral Mass to follow at 12pm. Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Allenton.
